We are currently only accepting Volunteers in the city of Texarkana, TX/AR

For many veterans, coming home is only half the journey.
At OVH, we believe in helping them find new missions, new voices, and new opportunities in civilian life — especially in media, podcasting, and storytelling.

But not every veteran wore military a uniform. Some wore fire gear, carried a badge, or stood in front of a classroom. Whether they served in the military, police, fire & rescue, or as teachers, they’ve held the line for others. Now it's our turn to show up for them.

Let’s face it — we already have plenty of plumbers, bartenders, and HVAC techs. Nothing wrong with hard work. But too many veterans are pushed toward physical labor, not purpose. They need options that match their leadership, creativity, and life experience — not just another job with a toolbox.

At OVH, we’re opening doors to storytelling, tech, media, and impact — and we need mentors who can help them walk through.

If you've served, supported, or simply care deeply about our veteran community, mentoring is one of the most meaningful ways you can give back. Help a veteran find their next mission — and maybe their own voice along the way.

You don’t need to be available all the time. We’ll match you with a mentee based on your availability and experience. Whether it’s one meeting or a long-term match, your time can change a life.
